D.J. Dockside, David Grissom made a verbal agreement and failed to uphold his end of the agreement. He was to provide a used "turn key aluminum trailer in exchange for my used steel trailer and $1,200. This eventually became $1,600 and the aluminum trailer he put under my boat is so bad that the boat can not be launched. There are too many things wrong to list them all, but here are a few: cross members are straight and should be "V" shaped, also he used the incorrect size tubing and used wooden blocks to fill the U- bolts, the bolt holes are cracked, the springs are not installed correctly, the running lights do not work, the trailer tongue is too short, the safety chains will not reach the hitch. Furthermore, after I sent him a certified letter to repair the trailer correctly or return the boat to my original trailer, he got rid of my original trailer. I know this because I stopped by every day. When I asked what happened to my original trailer? He responded " I loaned it to a buddy" . Needless to say this man is a crook. I highly recommend that anyone needing boat or trailer repair, or any other service stay away from this individual. He even took the tags to my original trailer. Iowa Colony Police, could not get the Brozoria D.A. to press theft charges supposedly due to the verbal agreement. I am not sure what boat was stolen, but if it was on a Red trailer, I do know where that came from. This is one awful individual. I only gave one star in order to complete this post. This guy is a zero.
