Safeway Driving School is one of the largest institutions in Minnesota that offers driver's education services. Operational for more than 35 years, it serves over 3,500 teenage students every year. The school provides nearly 30 hours of classroom instruction that focuses on decision making and defensive driving skills to individuals under the age of 18. Safeway Driving School oversees a staff of more than 40 employees. Its curriculum is approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The school also offers over five hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. Safeway Driving School is a member of the Driving School Association of the Americas and the Minnesota Driving School Association.
