Just remember to have your dealer open a new set of their test acids because they loose their accuretcy in a short time all the time. This rule can keep you from being ripped off. Gold Guys swear by this acid test and they are wrong all the time to their benifit. Thats just the way it works out. If your 18 karet ring test at 14k or even less, go to a jewlery store or pawn shop and have them test it. This rule can get you the correct amount of money. Dont believe the hallmark is fake because the Gold Guys are too cheap to open a new test kit monthly. The acid is only meant to last 60 days and that varys a lot.
