Dr. Starr deserves NO stars. He took an already difficult situation and made it much worse. I asked for a hair test and he took my x's urine then faxed me asking "what kind of test did you say you wanted?" I called him and told him again, I need a hair test. He said I'm all out of kits, I will have to order some. I can't get any until next week" ??? When the kits came in my x was called again to come in. After the 24hr period had expired for submitting, and me telling Dr. Starr "o.k. that's it, he didn't submit", my x showed up A WEEK LATER saying he had been called by my attorney to drug test and Dr. Starr tested him. This allowed a period of 3-4 weeks to transpire before actually getting the test done. HOW RANDOM IS THAT? After all of that, Dr. Starr didn't note the length of hair taken and told me the length of hair has nothing to do with how long the test dates back. He said the test will date back 3-4 months, which is contrary to everything I have read and people I've talked to. When I tried to discuss this with him he became indignant, saying "I know what I'm doing, I'm sorry you are upset that it's negative." I said "I'm happy its negative, but I am upset that I got a fax...etc etc." He was defensive, claiming I'm the only one who has ever gotten upset over how he operates his business...With the amount of goofs he made with this case, I find that completely unbelievable. Yellow pages shouldn't make me put one star. He deserves NONE!



In response to Dr. Starr, I am not bitter. That comment just reiterates his attitude toward any criticism toward the service he provided me. I actually felt sorry for him because he had to deal with my difficult ex and was obviously shaken up by it. Maybe Dr. Starr has learned from this experience that hair testing dates back to the length of hair taken...30 days for every 1/2 inch of hair. Be sure to verify this if you are going to use his services, however; his I can do no wrong, "don't try to tell me how to run my business" attitude has unlikely changed.

This office was very good. They know what they are doing! I think the the other person who wrote the other review was just upset that she did not get the results she was looking for.Like My expernice with them has been very postive, professional and they know what they are doing. My expercince was great! I have refered many people there, who also said they where very good!
