Francisco O. Stephens started in the window treatment business in 1982 as a shade mechanic with a small company named Art Wood Shades. His responsibilities included cutting, manufacturing, painting and assembling window shades. In 1986 he moved to another company named Arkwin Home Products. Arkwin housed the largest selection of Levolor one-inch stock blinds in the Northeast USA during this time. While employed at Arkwin, Francisco was responsible for cutting and assembling aluminum blinds. He also functioned as the Inventory Manager of the company's Levolor one-inch horizontals. In 1998 he founded Franco's Blinds and Shades Company. This company offers a broad range of products and services to suit the varied needs and requirements of both commercial and residential markets. In addition, Franco's Blinds and Shades is a key supplier of "Top of the Line" manufacturers in the blinds and shades industry. The goal of this company is to supply every home and institution with top quality, affordable window treatments.
