Provided by YP.comI have purchased from Stacy way before she ever started Factory Direct Purses and was a seller on eBay. Her products are superior in quality and way below everyone's price. I have never had an issue with items or customer service from this company. However, as someone who works in customer service we tend to be the toughest customers to please when we shop. I can also tell you that most of the time you "get" the respect you "show" when you contact a company for help. I had the opportunity to read emails from the dissatisfied customer below and not one time was she not asked if she would like to return her product. The reason she became irate was because Stacy refused to send her replacement WITH her return label and let her then return the defective merchandise. Please tell me a company that allows you to take home your replacement and return the bad one later. I am sure there are a lot of people who would love to shop there! I highly recommend Factory Direct, Stacy and her staff! You will get good service, a fair price, and quality products! Thank you!

Provided by YP.comI am probably one of the best customers that Factory Direct has. I just placed my 14th order since December 2011. I have recommended this site to all my friends and family - many of them have used this site too. I have NEVER had an issue with product or customer service from this company. I did have one item that was sold out at Christmas last year and Stacy kindly gave me a chance to choose again and even honored my choice that was over $5 higher without any additional charge, just because the bag I picked out first was not available. The shipping rates always pop up before you enter your credit card information so you have the choice of purchase or close the page without ordering. I love the personal service I get from a small family owned business instead of just being a number at a multi million dollar company. Of all the items I have purchased NONE have been returned due to being defective. The merchandise is very good quality and I still change into and carry the first handbag I ever bought. It is like new! Ive spoken to Stacy and her daughter in the past over issues and both have been very professional and treated me with respect. I even had the opportunity to use return because my daughter did not like the color I picked out for her. All I had to do was request a return number and it was in my email box within minutes. I returned the item and had my daughters chosen replacement within a week. Shipping has always been prompt with myself and with all my family. If we ever had an order issue we were notified within a few days and worked with Stacy to get things ironed out so our items could ship promptly. You are welcome to contact me and I will happily give you my personal recommendation to this company as they have the best selection on the internet and they do not inflate their prices to cover the shipping costs. You get a fair deal by a company who can actually remember your name if you call for help. I like that!!

Provided by YP.comI would NOT recoment using this company. They cost me a lot of money and time. After ordering a product off the companies website, i called the companies location (within 5 minutes of placing my order) and asked them to cancel the order. The employee was rude, but told me she would cancel it. Four days later, i recieved an email saying that my order had been shipped. When I called to ask why it had been shipped when i already canceled it, the woman told me that she couldnt cancel it, and just to send it back at my expense. Not only did i have to pay to send it back when they shouldnt have sent it in the first place, i also had to pay an unreasonably high "restocking fee." I wasted a lot of money with this company. I strongly reccoment not doing bussiness with them.
The customer has not stated the facts. She called and asked to cancel the order exactly 15 minutes after placing the order. I agreed and she then decided to NOT cancel the order, but to leave it in the system instead. I did as she asked and left the order as it was placed. Then 45 minutes after the first call she AGAIN called my company to ask to cancel the order. I told her that I would do the very best I could do to help her and tried to cancel the order. However, it had went from pending to processing in the system. Once an order goes into processing there is no way to stop the shipping of the item. I emailed the customer and told her of the situation and that her item would indeed ship. She telephoned today with the complaint that she had received the shipping confirmation and was angry the order had not been cancelled. I explained, again, to her that if it had canceled the first time I could have pulled it from the system without issue, but she waited until it had went into processing and it could not be pulled once it was processing. I told her that returning the item was not a problem and we would accept the item back. She became angry that we would not pay for the return shipping. Our company does not pay for return shipping on items that are not the fault of our company. This order was NOT cancelled on the first call as she stated and it was far greater than 5 minutes after placing the order when she did call. It was not the fault of my business the order had went into processing. Nor is it the responsibility of our company to pay for shipping on items that were shipped properly and according to the order placed, but refused by the customer. At no time was anyone rude to this customer and at no time was anyone disrespectful to her. She simply refused to accept the responsibility for an item she ordered and decided not to keep.

Provided by YP.comI have just read the posted review of this business and I wish to state the following. I have worked with Factory Direct Purses on numerous occassions and NEVER once had an issue. I run a charitable organization that supports handicapped children in a foster situation. Ms Peebles has donated numerous times to our organization in efforts to raise money for our kids. The last auction we sponsored she donated in excess of 20 handbags to our cause. In turn I have purchased and supported this company many times and never had an issue. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I have been in the situation of an item being sold out once, but Ms Peebles gave me the option of a substitution that was very acceptable and never charged me any more for the replacement. I find the review above to be very out of character for the owner, S Peebles, and the staff of this business. I HIGHLY recommend their company for all your handbag needs!

The owner of the company have accused me of being nasty after I cancelled my order and requested a refund because the items I ordered were out-of-stock when the website stated it wasn't when I ordered it. I guess she was not happy with my decision that I cancelled my order. It even came to a point of threatening me of forwarding my complaint to her lawyer (w/c does not bother me a bit). I highly recommend you look at OTHER COMPANIES to do business with.
Customer got upset over the fact her handbag she ordered was sold out. Our company gave her an option of another bag that was more expensive and better quality without any additional charge or a refund. Customer chose refund and money was given back the same day. She has started a smear campaign on the internet to voice her opinion. I am sorry the bags were sold out. It is Christmas and this happens, but she suffered no loss in the transaction. However she continues to rant and complain. Thus the reason I spoke of my attorney to handle the situation. If you are a business please contact me for this customers name and address. I do not think you wish to conduct business with her. My company has deleted and blocked her from future transactions.
