I lived here for 2 years. We had no problems with the place for most of it. There were minor bug problems but the management was definitely trying to get rid of them and for the most part succeeded. Most maintenance problems were fixed the next day.

Our biggest problem came 3 months before we left when we got upstairs neighbors that were ridiculous to say the least. We had to call the police nearly every day because they'd throw parties full of drunken 16 year old that were so loud they'd LITERALLY shake our ceiling fans. They thought it was absolutely hysterical to stomp above our autistic 6-year-old son's room anywhere between midnight and 2 am because he'd wake up and scream. The noise never stopped day or night. They tried to break into our house several times. Sometimes we even had friends over that would witness all this madness. They threw unopened beer cans at our windows even. They even had the nerve to come down to start fights with us when we had a police order that they were to not come near without a police officer present.

What did management have to say about THIS? First, they lied and said that one more strike and the neighbors upstairs were gone. 4 more strikes later, they tried to tell us that we had to pay to break our lease (because at this point we couldn't stand it anymore), so we had to call and complain every day until they finally broke our lease instead.

So yes. The apartments structurally are clean and taken care of. Two stars for that. But if you have neighbors that threaten your or your family's safety you're pretty much SOL. Unless by chance they're stupid enough to NOT notice flashy police lights pull up so the police can arrest them after catching them in the act (which is required for them to do anything otherwise). Which is unlikely.

Would I recommend my friends move here? Not a chance. I wouldn't even recommend an enemy to do so until I knew for a fact that a management that WOULD deal with this was in place.

A little impressed how clean and well maintained these apartments are. I really like and enjoy to live here. Management is great and very helpful.

My family and I have lived here since 2010 and we love it. Southwind Place is the best apartment we lived in so far. Well kept apartments, management is beyond helpful. The maintenance is on top and quick to respond usually less than a hour. The grounds and pool are always clean and reasonably basic but nice and in a great location. The only issue is that there is not a gym or many amenities. The staff in nice to deal with and are friendly and responsive staff. I would recommend this place though as it is quite confortable and well priced.

I just don't get it loso17 and emj3. I am not sure where the other reviewers got their facts, it seems to me that your are just mad at management without a good point at all, and you calling residents GHETTO must be because your are GHETTO. I have been living at Southwind Place for over 2 years and I think I am qualified to give a rating. Things that are important to me are cleanness, low noise level, privacy, atmosphere, quaility and no crime and I found all these things at Southwind. I've lived in several different places and always moved out because apartments didn't meet my expectations and SOUTHWIND DID!! Management and maintenance are friendly, fantastic and very professional, never rude! I feel safe and comfortable living here thanks to management and their team, so do I recommend this place, YES I DO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 100%

I have been here since 5 years ago and have never recieved a note on my door about paying rent, maybe because I do pay my rent on time and you don't. This place has changed a lot. Yes the manager might be strict but that's the only way to make changes so this place doesn't turn ghetto again. On the other hand you can't expect for management to take care all kids in the property, go complaing to those kids's parents. I know that when they explained my lease, it says "no ball playing between the buildings" so it's not management fault but the parents for not telling them anything. I have not seen the police on a daily baisis. There is no violence here unless it's the residents that are reporting abuse from their own family (husband or wife). I am happy living here and will be renewing my lease for the 6th year.

This is one of the worst places to live in Rogers. I have been here 2 years and cannot wait to get out. The only positive thing is that maintenance will fix things a few days after you report them. The management is terrible. They are constantly sending notices to your door about changes to policies and are never in the office when it is supposed to be open, even to collect rent. They will not take care of complaints at all. My car has been damages by the children that live here, the police are always here on a daily basis, and the residents have no respect for others' property or for the grounds which are always trashed. Look elsewhere.

I have been here for 1 yr and I will be renewing my lease for another year. I think this place is very neat and the time I've been here I have not heard anything about residents being noisy nor have seen police around in the property for any disturbance as people say. I love living here and I would defenitely recommend it to anybody. Staff is very friendly and they work well to keep this place in good condition.

I have been living at SouthWind Place for over a year. I just renewed my lease. This place is super nice and clean. I finally found a place where I feel secure and safe, a place I can call HOME. Staff is always there, they are helpful and always sending updates on what is going on. When there is something not working in the apartment, maintenance people fix the problem the same day, you don't have to wait. Managment always try to improve the complex in different ways. I recomment this place.
