It was my first time to visit this optical establishment. I was in need of a new pair of backup glasses for my contacts. I was quoted a price of $132 for no-line basic plastics bifocal lenses. Again, I only needed them as backups so didn't want to spend too much. I reviewed the quote staff provided 3xs to verify prices of lenses. The staff member even wrote down the quote for me. I came back 2 days later to make my purchase but was told that the quote was incorrect. I was told the quote was for ONE lens ONLY. Who gives a quote for ONE lens only??? I explained that the quote written down states $132 for lenseS not one lens. It was obvious the original staff member had made a mistake with the original price quote and this other staff member was attempting to coverup for the mistake. I asked if the doctor/owner would honor the original price quoted of $132 but immediately told NO. They never even took the time to ask the owner/doctor for his opinion. I thanked them and stated I would take my business elsewhere. Very disappointed in how this unfortunate situation was handled. These types of disappointing transactions can make or break a business.
