Dr Mitgang is the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, he was named the Emanuel Kaplan Hand Surgery Fellow at the prestigious NYU/Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. Dr. Mitgang specializes in caring for patients with acute traumatic or sports-related hand and upper extremity injuries, nonoperative and operative treatment of fractures and dislocations, finger and elbow joint replacement as well as osteoporosis management. A member of the Orlin & Cohen team since 2014, the board-certified specialist also has extensive experience with minimally invasive hand surgery, including bladeless treatment of trigger fingers and Dupuytren’s disease.
