One star is way too much for this business. I purchased a new Vermont Castings wood stove from Mazzeo's a few years ago. I also sub-contracted a complete chimney install from their sub-contractors. The sale of the stove went smoothly, but the after-sale service has been a huge disappointment. A piece to my stove broke off while under normal use. Upon searching the internet and local dealers in Maine for this part, I contacted Mazzeo's hoping to get help with this part. Much to my surprise, this business wanted 2.5 times the cost of the going price anywhere else. They also wanted an outrageous fee for Shipping and Handling. I could get the part for $100 less from an authorized dealer I didn't buy the stove from. Say what you want, but this is not good service to a loyal customer who has given this business thousands of dollars in sales. Not to mention four friends I referred to buy their stoves and accessories. I can't recommend this business, sorry!!
