Ok, so for starters I'm not big on writing reviews, not because I don't want to, it's just that I am lazy!However, after my experience here, I have no other choice, so here it goes. Dr Hansen & his team rock big time!For starters upon entering, I was greeted by 2 lovely ladies at the giant front desk as well as the most amazing smelling candle I've ever smelled! (They told me where to get it but I forgot.) Anyhow, I am so used to bland dental offices but Dr Hansen's office is the complete opposite that! I requested a toothbrush and they gladly gave me one as well as a cute tube of paste.The bathroom was like a spa bathroom-and I know this will sound funny but it was the yummiest smelling bathroom Ive been in in a while LOL, with another gr8 candle!Dr Hansen is the coolest and so easy to talk to.I hadn't seen a dentist in years and he was willing to answer all of my questions no problemA+ as a dental office

I commend Dr Hansen on his fabulous work. I have been a patient since 1990 and recently had veneers put on. One word Hollywood ! Nowhere in Illinois will you get the quality, care and reasonable price. Everyone loves my bright smile. Kudos to you Dr Hansen, don't allow a person Who has no life sway your opinion. Keep positive and the negative will fade , Pat Z ( an actual patient :p

On behalf of Dental Designers we are investigating a disgruntled employee whom is creating fictitious reviews that include defaming and business and creating false accusations. As the legal representatives we ensure we are doing everything we can and this individual will be prosecuted in the court of law to the fullest extent.

I love Dr Hansen and I am so happy to have such a great dentist! He has changed my smile and I am so much more confident with everything I do. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Please pay no attention to the negative reviews. He had a terrible employee and his work speaks for itself.

MY WHOLE REVIEW DIDNT FIT, DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!This is the worst dentist I have ever been to!! The only reason I took the time to look up his name, was to write a review so others don't suffer as I had to. As a former dental assistant I know exactly what is going on in a dental office and I know for a fact that this office is very inexperienced and extremely unsanitary! I had to wait over an hour for to be seated and the staff was very unprofessional, constantly complaining, in front of patients, that they hadn't received their paychecks in over 2 weeks. After finally being seated and having x-rays taken, (I must add that the assistant did not know what she was doing and had to take a total of 9 xrays when only 4 was necessary) the doctor finally waltzed in and didn't even bother to introduce himself. He looked straight at my xrays and told me I had seven cavities. I knew I did not, for I looked at the xrays while waiting and there was clearly only one tooth with decay!

I have been seeing this dentist off and on for the last 5 years. Over the last year and a half I have been seeing him at his new office on E.State and I do not know what happen but my experience with him and his staff have gone down hill fast. It started when I went in for a exam. They told me what services I needed and what my insurance was gonna cover. I also was told what my out of pocket expense was gonna be...appox. $300-350. I agreed to have the work done. Work got done and now I have a $1500 bill. His staff, especially Carmen they do not know what is going on. They do not return phone calls and then call and leave messages that they can not get ahold of you. They hang up on you when they are on the phone with you and then don't call back. I believe insurance companies have been charged for work that was already done. Did a root canal and left it infected, then wanted to charge me to fix what he should of in the first place. List goes on but running out of space.

I am a complete dental phobic! the thought of going to the dentist makes my skin crawl. i had a tooth ache and i called around to several dentists who couldnot get me in finally i found Dental Designers. The receptionist was very pleasant and was able to make time in the doctor's schedule. i don't know how i actually made it into the dental office because i was so scared but as soon as i entered the office i was immedialtley at ease! the beautiful waiting room was soothing with the sound of waterfalls and calming music. The staff was very nice! Carmen was the lady that helped me. she brought me back in the room and asked me a few questions. i immediatley felt like she understood me and she stayed with me the entire time to reassure me i would be ok. Then Dr Hansen came in.. wow was i surprised! he was so kind and understood my phobia! He took the time to listen and i am now a patient for life! i am so gratefull!

I was referred to this office from my friend who was getting married. I had meet the staff at Giovannis for the bridal show and they were helpful and knowledgable. When i came in the office i was in shock of how beautiful it was, i thought i was lost at a spa resort. Dr Hansen was so kind as i am such a baby when it comes to the dentist. It was not even like going to the dentist, i had my teeth whitened for friends wedding. The assistant Carman was so nice to explain everything that was going to happen so that i was n't afraid of the unknown. She called me personally the next day to make sure i was happy with my results. YES ! Cant wait for the wedding! Once i get my insurance back i will be back in. I would love to know who did that gorgeous wall! Just wanted to share my success story with everyone forgive me if this is long i just was so amazed i didnt feel like i was even at the dentist

Dr.Hansen is a crooked Dentist he wil max any credit card you have . He is very money hungry dentist his employees are un professional you have to wait a long time to see him he never checks his voice mails .. He is the same owner to the other office on colllege ave . Hansen & Hansen also known as Rock River Dental .. That place is soooo nasty not even clean instruments never get cleaned there he trys to get rich off of public aid patients charging $100.00 right off the bat . Do not take children there he has a bad reputation with extractions and fillings ask any other dentist in the area ! if its an emergency he makes you wait a long time to do more on you and charge you more his personality is wayyyyyy different if you have money or more less cash up front... I've never been to such a worse office than this one!!!!!! I would never suggest the place to anyone. When I was there I couldn't help but hear the office talk bad about one another. The Hygentist is fantastic though. The office manager didn't know what the hell she was doing. The front desk girl acted like a child. They were just not perfessional.

I took my child to see Dr. Hansen. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I never once felt like he was looking for extra problems with my child's teeth so he could increase his bill. He was gentle and fast as well. We were in and out very quickly. The staff were very friendly as well. I truly feel like this was easiest dental visit I or my child have ever been to. I would highly recommend Dr. Hansen.
