The company was started in 1956 by Albert Meisenzahl, who focused on the sharpening and repairing of hand and power reels. Following Albert's death in 1969, his son Peter took over, and by 1984, Titus Mower had grown into Rochester's leading source for the service and sales of outdoor power equipment, with the help of Peter's wife Annette, and their daughter Lynn. Until 2011, Lynn contributed her heart and soul to the company. Today, she's a proud grandmother, working in OPE distribution in Eastern Kansas. Lynn's son Jason has earned a SUNY business degree and leads the company into its fourth generation, proud to have served the greater Rochester area for over 50 years.
