Vivek Natarajan, M.D. graduated cum laude from Columbia University before earning his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta. He then went on to complete two fellowships. His first was in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and then orthopaedic spine surgery from Oregon Health & Science University. His clinical interests include adolescent and adult scoliosis and minimally invasive spine surgery treating cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions. Dr. Natarajan began practicing in New Jersey as a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon before joining Carilion. During that time, he served as a clinical assistant professor at NYU Langone Medical Center. He joins our team of top orthopaedic spine surgical specialists who work collaboratively to provide an individualized treatment plan for patients at the Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences.
