Police called them to tow my girlfriends car from the scene of an accident on a Saturday at 6:30pm. We asked that the car be towed 2 miles to the body shop; but the driver said he would have to tow to their lot and then tow to the body shop on Monday when he could get paid.

After contacting the body shop on Monday, found out that Gator Towing charged $1000. $650 for an after hours call to an accident, $150 for a day of storage and another $175 for towing to the body shop on Monday. Price gouging. Need to be taken off list used by police/county.

They a bunch of price Gouging crooks. They got me for 2k truck and stuck me with a 1075. Tow bill the fallowing day.

They were beyond rude in general. They sat in their truck for 10 minutes talking on their cell phone and laughing as if I had not already been waiting for over an hour for them to arrive. They hoped out and proceeded to assess the situation without so much as interacting with me as if I was invisible. They complained that the unnecessary long tow truck they chose to bring to pick up an SUV couldn't get to where it needed to be. They seemed annoyed by the fact I would not start my car(whose engine had been smoking) so that they could drive it to where it would be easier for them to access. I refused because I did not want to damage my vehicle further and felt they knew what vehicle they were picking up as well as its location (alley access)and therefore should have brought a standard tow truck. Their response "We have the largest tow truck in the valley". They finally got it towed but after an hour waiting at the location they were supposed to bring it to I found out they took it somewhere completely different than the address I specifically told them to take it too. After about another hour they arrived with not so much as an apology or explanation for where they had my vehicle for 2 hours they let the car out without even taking the time to put it in a good spot. I had to push it in the spot myself. When I got in my car all my windows were down and there was a drink in my car that wasn't mine. I would not recommend them to an enemy and if I could rate them less than a star I would. It took about 3 hrs to get a vehicle towed 10 minutes down the road.
