I upgraded to their advanced tv package 2 weeks ago and the tv is still not working with their faulty equipment. It took a week to get the phone working properly by a Cox tech person who made one phone call and got it working and today they sent out the same contract employee from the install date who gave me the creeps bc he wouldn't leave and asked about TV's upstairs, no the service order did not say to put a box on them, so short of telling him to get out, he finally left!! I was here by myself and called Cox to tell them and then they send the same contract person who was on the phone with Cox tech's the whole time he did the installation!!!!!!!! I will never get what I am suppose to from them, so any opinions on Dish Network would be appreciated!!!!

Paid bill faithly ; after enough of their prices I went to another company . I paid bill on 9/16/13 for80.00 and called turned off cable on 9/30/13 and returned there box in timely manner . Couldn't get answer for the lady that took the box about any bill left .got another bill and paid 78.44 on 10/4/13 ; shortly after Iget aanother bill for little over 45.00 $ .I decided to go on and pay that one to ( I just wanted them out of my hair .) I put check in there drop box . Thought that was the end ; I was wrong . They clam that they never got any check nor did they send another bill . They turned me to collection agency .

Cox was once good, but not anymore. Every month they will raise your bill just a little bit. Cox's internet speeds have not increased in 3 years, but they still keep jacking up the price on the internet also. They have become overly greedy, more concerned with raising prices then customer service.

Prices seem to rise every month. Tech help is good, customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen. TV prices are higher than satellite and internet is higher than any city I've ever lived in, large or small. I will be looking for a better deal elsewhere.

Customer Service is horrible. Walk in experience awful with Roanoke office. Signed up under rebate program and 4 months later still waiting on rebate and no one can explain or tell when I will receive. Have printout and email from cox that rebate mailed. Also ran by to pay bill in person and guy refused to take a check without a driver's license! Take my ck every month by mail but refused in person with photo ID. Guy was rude and had horrible "air of indifference" about him. Check was scanned & handed back to me (like walmart) so why the hassle about photo ID? Roanoke needs another option for cable and high speed internet.
