Formed in 1982, Engineered Environments Inc. is a general contracting firm based in Boynton Beach, Fla. The company designs and builds customized computer rooms to house its clients' mainframe computers. Engineered Environments Inc. has served many customers, including Office Depot, Sensormatic, Bell South, Interim Services and Pratt & Whitney. Some of the projects that the company was involved in as general contractors include building an magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) facility and low cost housing in Boca Raton, as well as some work on the Pompano Beach City Pier.
