Divorce is not really an easy thing to go through and no one goes in to a marriage preparing for a divorce. So, unfortunately, it’s a confusing time.

Mrs. McDonnell was nothing short of the perfect blend of professionalism, effectiveness, and compassion. She was an ear when I needed one. She was very professional in all her communications and processes. And, she was extremely effective in insuring the outcome of my case was one that helped me move on to the next part of my life. Her staff was also incredible to work with. I highly recommend Mrs. McDonnell.

Sheryl is an amazing attorney. Mrs. McDonnell is the best! She has been very aggressive when needed and when appropriate. She has listened to my concerns and needs as the client, and be diligent in looking out for my best interests as my attorney. I can't say enough because I was in a major custody battle and she prevailed for me and my son! I can't thank her enough and spread the good word about her and her level of knowledge and expertise in family law regarding divorce and custody situations. It just flows and comes naturally for her! She is very experienced when it comes to family law! I don't believe I would be where I am today without her!

I hired Sheryl in 2010 based on a referral, however I wish I had investigated her further. She takes your money and you never hear from her again - her substandard staff made so many errors in our case and of course billed me for their corrections, then submitted the incorrect paperwork! She never saw or called me to discuss the case until 24 hours before. When I called asking if she was even going to show up - she promptly reprimanded me and told me that she will no longer represent. Then she SHOWED UP the next day and completely misrepresented my case to the opposing attorney, filed a motion to dismiss herself from my case - and then BILLED ME FOR THAT! I lost custody of my kids, got screwed in the final decree and got billed ANOTHER $4600. She should be up for malpractice - I have contacted the bar association regarding her- read her poor reviews on multiple websites - STAY AWAY!
