Park Elementary School serves more than 330 students in prekindergarten through grade six. It imparts reading skills to elementary-grade students through phonics instruction. North Side Elementary School also conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. The school has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. North Side Elementary School operates fine arts and special education departments. The school has a staff that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists. Located in Riverdale, Ill., the school is governed by Dolton Riverdale School District 148.
