I highly recommend Blades because the ice is nicer than anywhere else in Albuquerque. It is softer than a certain rink on the other side of town, and the Zamboni doesn't leave tire tread in the ice (a very dangerous condition which is often found at that other rink). The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, and the staff is friendly. They actually listen to you and your concerns!
