These guys rock!!! They were beyond respectful and there for one thing... to move all my belongings into my new house with no issues and no needs from me or my family. After comparing them with multiple other companies to get price comparisons, the owner Al made me feel comfortable that his men were right for the job and he came thru with flying colors on everything he told me would happen. You're an idiot if you choose any other moving company.

On July 21, we were treated to a move by Ben, Lale, and Jr. I say "treated," because we have never been the recipients of more kindness, courtesy, respect, and care than with these three fine movers. Each one of these three men went out of their way to show us great friendliness and consideration. Your men took great care of our furniture, and neither of the two homes it came out of and went into were damaged. All of your men were very conscientious and considerate workers. Moving can be a very stressful experience. These three men took as much of that stress away as possible, through their friendliness, laughter, and, yes, singing. When I inquired what they were singing, an even tighter bond was formed between us and them -- we serve the same Master! I really also enjoyed talking to your guys about "things Samoan," which they readily discussed at my request.Big Al's Specialty Movers is surely one of the best-kept secrets in Vancouver. You folks are a treasure. Thanks for everything, and please again extend our warmest thanks to Ben, Lale, and Junior.

July 24, 2009 We highly recommend Big Al’s Specialty Movers to anyone for their moving needs. We needed to sell our 4000 sq. ft. Portland home in a time when the real estate market was in decline, and relocate to a town 700 miles away. Homes in the price range we were selling in were spending an average of 6 months on the market before selling at drastically reduced prices. To avoid this, we devised an aggressive plan to have our home pre-inspected, personal and unnecessary household items stored, and to stage it to sell quickly. Big Al’s played a critical role in the success of our plan. We have a very special Steinway Grand Piano and called local piano stores in town to ask them to recommend a mover who would take good care our piano. Every single place we called recommended the same company, Big Al’s Specialty Movers. We called Big Al’s and Al arrived the next business day to look at our piano and give us a quote. We told him we needed to find a mover for the rest of our household and asked him if he could recommend a company. Al told us Big Al’s could move everything for us! We were delighted! While staging our home for sale, we decided to store over half our household to showcase our home’s size and architecture. Originally, we planned to move our things to storage ourselves. But it quickly became clear that was a job too large for us to do ourselves. We called Nancy at Big Al’s and she sent a crew right over to help! Ben and the crew cleared out everything we needed to store and took it to our storage unit in a single day. Our home sold in 10 days, for over our asking-price, with multiple offers! On moving day, Ben and the crew arrived on time, and worked while we began the long drive to our new destination. When Ben and the crew arrived in their trucks to deliver our things to our new home, they were right on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and were extremely professional. Al, Nancy, Ben and the rest of the crew made a stressful time so much easier for us. We are eternally grateful to them for their excellent service and for the consideration they gave to our things. Big Al’s uses their own trucks, their own crew, and they are extremely professional. Throughout the process it was very clear to us that the staff and crew of Big Al’s were aware they had our entire household in their care.We are in our new home far away from Portland and are extremely happy. My wife and I want to thank BIG AL’S and particularly the crew responsible for the resent move of our hand made furniture. This furniture was a wedding present for our son and his bride. An appreciable amount of work went into making theses pieces. Needless to say, having them shipped from Vancouver WA to Sacramento, Ca. was a concern to me. My wife found your company in the phone book and the person she contacted was extremely helpful and sold my wife on shipping this furniture by Big Al. In addition, the idea that the shipment would not be stored in some warehouse till shipping also appealed to my wife. Needless to say I was somewhat concerned about shipping my woodwork ???

These concerned quickly turned to confidence with the arrival at my home of Big Al’s crew. The crew was very friendly, professional and in no time at all reinforced my wife expectations regarding her selection of Big Al. It was correct!!

All the individual pieces were wrapped in multiple blankets, taped, and finished with poly shrink wrap. I couldn’t ask for better care of my woodwork.

On arrival to Sacramento several days later, my Sons and his fiancée were equally impressed by the driver and their professional approach for their job.

Once again, my entire family was very impressed by Big Al.

Needless to say, when to opportunity arises, we will use Big Al again. In addition we will recommend Big Al to any of our friends or neighbors interested in moving their items.
