Generator Interlock Technologies sells the Interlock Kit - a device that provides portable generators with a safe and easy connection to household electrical panels; this allows your portable generator to power your household systems as well as the outlets in your home - a great convenience in the event of a power outage. Our company offers a line of Kits for each of the most popular brands of electrical panels, including Siemens, ITE, Murray, Thomas & Betts, Cutler Hammer, Westinghouse, and many more. Our Kits perform the same function as manual transfer switches, ensuring that the utility and generator breakers cannot be turned on at the same time; but compared to manual transfer switches, our Kits but can be installed more easily and less expensively. Our Kits can handle generators of any size; they're tested by Met Labs; and they meet UL 67 electrical standards. Generator Interlock Technologies is based in Richmond VA, and we're proud to manufacture our Kits in the USA.
