I tried this for the first time last Sunday for my daughter's second birthday pictures. I was called 3 times the day before to confirm my appointment and was told to arrive at least 10 minutes early. I did arrive 20 minutes early for my appointment, and when I arrived the place was crazy. While checking in, I asked if they were running on time. I was told they were running just a few minutes late. 45 minutes past appointment time (65 minutes after arrival), I was taken back to the first portrait room. This was set up for Christmas. As I mentioned to the workers all 3 times when they called to confirm and when I checked in, I was not interested in Christmas pictures....we were there for birthday pictures. They did "accommodate" me by placing my daughter on a plain gray background (no props or anything). My daughter was not in the best mood by this point (she had her toys taken out of her hands by other children in the cramped waiting room and been in a crazy environment for over an hour now and she is a toddler). The photographer tried to get her to cooperate for about 5 minutes before asking me to leave the first portrait room, saying that they needed to bring someone else in so "they don't run behind" suggesting that we wait for our turn in the next room and maybe my daughter would cooperate then. We walked out the door.

After reading this review, if you still would like to go to this studio here are a few tips:

1) Bring a lint roller. They have some seating, but not nearly enough if they are going to overbook like they do. My daughter and I sat on the floor, which was quite dirty. I kept trying to pick everything off of her black pants so it wouldn't look so bad in the pictures. Joke was on me though because we didn't end up getting a single picture taken.

2) If you have a little one, bring a snack. You could be there for awhile. I'm not sure what their policy is, but MANY little kids were running around with food and dropping it on the floor. My 1 (almost 2 year old) kept wanting to pick up the food and cried when I wouldn't give her any.

3) Don't put little ones in the outfit that you want them pictured in until right before they take you back to the 1st picture room. See notes from above.

4) GOOD LUCK! I HOPE YOU WON'T NEED IT, BUT BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, YOU WILL!!!!!
