The one and only Amigos Restaurant Comida Casera is an authentic Mexican restaurant located in Richardson, Texas. Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, brothers Frankie Jimenez and Augustin Jimenez, and brother-in-law Manuel Sanchez have been providing loyal customers with traditional family flavors since March 31, 2004. With handmade entrees and home-made taste, Amigos always offers the freshest foods crafted from recipes handed down from generation to generation. The family-owned restaurant has grown in popularity thanks to word of mouth-Frankie and Manuel have never advertised-and has recently expanded to include a party room, bar area, and an outdoor patio. Family is an obvious element of Amigos success. They serve hand-made tamales, mole, and hand-crafted sauces that bring such great taste to the wide variety of flavors, including authentic Mexican dishes, Tex-Mex fare, pastas, and seafood. The restaurant offers Happy Hour specials during the week and is open for your special occasions. Amigos is a great place to unwind after a busy day, to celebrate, or to simply relax and enjoy time with family.

Consistently Great

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Richardson. Hidden in a shopping strip center, you wouldn't expect this kind of quality food and service. What's even better is that this isn't your typical Tex Mex. Several options of authentic Mexican fare. Salsa is amazing. It's my "go to" place when I have customers in from out of state or out of town. Management believes in leaving a strong positive impression. Try it out. You'll be glad you did.

Spend Your Money Some Place Else

Was there last night;

Our orders were wrong.

Dirty plates were not being removed from the table.

The host (looked like a manager) saw what was going on and didn't even come over to ask or say anything to us; a couple of the waiters also knew and nothing;

to make things worse our bill was wrong.

They are pricey for Mexican food, we don't mind paying more if it is worth it; this place is definitely not worth the price, spend your money some place else.
