Rick B. Weaver is a partner in the Alliance/Wise County office of The Weaver Firm, P.C. Mr. Weaver has nearly 30 years of estate planning and probate experience, has practiced Elder Law for more than 15 years and is one of the few certified Elder Law attorneys in Texas. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate and he specializes in qualifying older clients for Medicaid and preparing Qualified Income Trusts (Miller Trusts). He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Real Estate and Probate and Trust Sections, the Dallas Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Texas Guardianship Association. Mr. Weaver is also a legal education instructor at the National Business Institute, Inc., and teaches business law at The University of Texas at Arlington's Paralegal Program.
