Kristina Spitale-Efstratis, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CCRN began her career in nursing in 2013 so she could support people during their most vulnerable times. In 2018, she became a board-certified family nurse practitioner, and she strives to ensure that her patients receive the high quality of care that they need and deserve. She chose to go into the field of gastroenterology because it plays a huge rule in a person’s quality of life, yet it isn’t always the easiest to talk about. Kristina is especially passionate about the identification and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome because these two conditions can have a significant impact on a patient’s day-to-day life, and proper management can make a big difference in their overall wellbeing.
