Provided by YP.comI went in for spine surgery & at the time took only prn norco for pain. I awoe from surgery with all the classic signs & symptoms of bilat lower extremity compartment syndrome &rhabdomylosis. This was not correctly diagnosed or treated. As a result I suffer permanent muscle-nerve-blood vessel-lymphatic damage. I require 24 hr high dose morphine, norco, neurontin, valium, ambien. I had a spinal nerve stimulator implanted which was a 30 staple surgery & am needing a replacement surgery before the end of the year. I can no longer sleep in a bed & have difficulty driving, walking any distance or navigating stairs or inclines, squatting. Any activity requiring the leg muscles to utilize oxygen causes severe cramping & other movements cause muscle spasms. Brett Menmuir & John Halki have denied any wrong doing & have falsified medical records-some records have been destroyed. They have taken no responcibilty for any of the resulting medical bills. In the past 8 months I have had to endure 3 EMGs, 3 nerve conduction studies, full spine CT & Myelogram, arterial & venous ultrasounds, lower extremity arteriogram to rule out & diagnose the consequeces of untreated compartment syndrome. I cannot begin to explain the pain I have endured & continue to suffer. I can no longer work altho I had worked my entire adult life till a month before surgery, have lost my health & life insurance,my house, my car, my pets. If you're a woman & have had back labor -imagine this kind of pain to both legs from your waist down constant for 3 weeks with no pain relief. Add to that having compression devices squeeze your legs every 30 minutes for 6 days. Then imagine the doctors ignoring your complaints & yelling at you to get out of bed. I had to vomit (due to rhabdomylosis) even tho every little movement caused severe spasms. I could not eat or reach the call light. I started to go into respiratory failure & kidney failure. I went in for routine back surgery & was literally knocking on heavens door. My only consolation was being unconscious most of the time due to organ failure & pain. After my discharge all the nurses were required to take a lecture on compartment syndrome signs & symptoms. As a nurse I have worked to protect my patients from this kind of negligence & can honestly say this would never happen on my shift. This was preventable! There was no excuse! Even worse to cover it up & take no responcibility for the mounting medical bills
