I want to thank all of you there for your sacrifice and help in getting me back to normal with the help from Adopt A Vet Dental and Linda Haig. The two teeth that were pulled went without a hitch and I recovered quickly and with no pain this morning. Thanks again to Dr McElhinney and staff and may the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace.

The dentist is my biggest fear in life. Previous DDS's have almost killed me, literally. Dr McElhinney is the only dentist can trust not to hurt me. He has pulled a number of my teeth and I have no complaints. He is a gentle and caring dentist and will give you a good experience.

Joe has been my dentist for approx. 28 years and has always done the most professional and competent work of any dentist I've ever had in my life (and I'm 66 yrs of age). He is always up to date on new procedures, practices and equipment. When I've had any major work done he calls me to make sure there are no complications and that everything is alright. I've recommended Joe to quite a few people and they have always come back to tell me how much they like his work. I recommend Joe to anyone looking for the very best dental care available here in Reno.

I came to Dr Mac about 10 years ago to find I had serious periodontal disease-He said what do you want to do? Do you want to keep them? and I said YES! So I have my own beautiful teeth-He's the best and the best in the whole world at painless injections.

I have been coming to see Dr. Mac for over 15 years. The office staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Dr. Mac keeps up to date with the latest technology and treatment options. I have the greatest confidence in his recommendations and treatment plans. Coming to the dentist has become a positive experience.

The staff here is wonderful to work with and is always trying to make my visit easy and pain free. I strongly recommend Dr. McElhinney to my friends and family.

My wife and I have not found a comparable dental provider since we left Reno. Dr. McElhinney has those special skills to know what to do and when; all the while providing the utmost in customer service and high quality, lasting results. Subsequent dentists have marveled over Dr. McElhinney's crown work. I wish only that they'd marvel less and try harder to achieve his level of professionalism!

Not only does his staff provide great basic care, but he's probably THE leading dentist in Reno in terms of use of technology in his practice (i.e electronic records & investment in new equipment) as well as always reading and attending educational seminars. He's a dental professional in the truest sense of the word. I know some of his patients include those who have had shoddy work done by the discount dental chains that have moved into Reno. And if you've got major dental work or high-end cosmetics that need to be done... you should definitely visit Dr. McElhinney. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a new dentist in Reno.

Dr. Joe McElhinney, I really, really want to thank you for saving me. I'm a disabled veteran living with minimal resources. Dr. McElhinney, you were tremendous. There was no opportunity available in getting my dental needs, then I met you and your wonderful staff. I now have a future and hope. Doctor, when you are walking around with missing teeth, no body takes you serios because they feel you don't take care of yourself. Doctor, thank-you for treating me with respect.

Had to write about what an awesome experience my 4 year old daughter just had at the dentist! Sounds impossible? 4-year old + dentist doesn't usually add up to a pleasant experience, but in this case it certainly was! Dr. McElhinney is such a pro, with the most up-to-date technology my daughter's two fillings were quick and painless! With such a great staff my children and I are always extremely comfortable and well cared for! If you're looking for a dentist, this is the one!
