I started off my business by opening a shop in my garage, situated in the small town of El Sobrante, California back in 2012. What prompted me to do so was that I was shocked at the ridiculous prices being charged at the dealerships. I bought over 20 different programming machines and key cutters and taught myself on my personal cars and later on neighbors, friends, and co-workers. As I started modifying keys and remotes, it drew the attention of many manufacturers. They wanted me to test the items they were making on vehicles sold in the US market. In return, these manufacturers gave me wholesale prices which I pass onto my customers. I quit my full time job in order to continue growing my key business. I decided to move to the state of Texas in the summer of 2015. As I didn't want customers in the bay area in California to lose out on the great prices I was charging, I decided to make my business into a franchise.
