Opened in 1957, Duncan Elementary School serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. The elementary school s curriculum includes classes in English, language arts, science, mathematics, music, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers classes in computer applications, reading and writing. Duncan Elementary School also offers media, counseling, health and psychological services to its students. The school also offers a range of exceptional student education programs. The elementary school is a part of the Washoe County School District, which is one of the largest school districts in Nevada. The school district operates more than 90 schools and serves over 60,000 students. Duncan Elementary School is located in Reno, Nev.
