Recently my countertop microwave started making like an arc welder. Fun to watch, but not a good thing. It was about 14 yrs old, so time to replace. After doing online research I went to several Big Box stores and became thoroughly frustrated. I then went back online to find a local appliance store. Frederick's Appliance (Redmond) looked like the place to visit.Shortly after I arrived a staff member came by to offer assistance, Despite this being a small sale he spent ample time with me discussing my needs and wants, He also showed me the models in the showroom, detailing the advantages and differences. He then made 3 recommendations, but left the decision to me. I chose one of the models, which was immediately ordered.I am completely satisfied with the unit I purchased. The sales process was a pleasure, which is rare in the appliance business. I wholeheartedly recommend Frederick's Appliance as a superior place to purchase appliances.

We have shopped other stores, big and small. Frederick's really has the selection, the staff, and the know how to get it done. We will be a Frederick's customer for life!

Great Customer Service. We are remodeling our home and they gave us a great deal on many new appliances. I was looking for someone else in the phone book and saw their ad so I called to compare price and I'm glad I did. We saved quite a bit and they were really great to work with. I wanted a very high end refrigerator and they were the best price from here to seattle. Great Showroom too.

Long story short: we were supposed to pick up a microwave but it was defected. They took off $50. Great? Wait. They told us to pick it up at their warehouse but to wait for their call, they never called so we expected it to be delivered with the rest of the kitchen appliances we purchased. It wasn't. We had a contracter there to install the microwave but since it wasn't delivered we wasted our money. After much negotiating they agreed to install it for free, yet they refused to give us the promised $50 off. LAME. We let it slide till their next stunt: they had installed the washer but didn't connect the hose properly so it leaked so bad that it damaged our downstairs neighbors' ceilings. They decline responsibility "because we tightened the valve ourselves", although we have 3 witnesses (licensed contractors & association person) and pictures as proof. They are shady. Found more bad reviews. They seem more interested in closing their sale than good customer service. Donot go there.

We have purchased a few appliances from Fredericks. They are fair and will encourage you to use any rebates that are available. There was one time when the installation guy didn't show up to work and I didn't get my dishwasher installed until a day late, but otherwise they have been fine.
