Redlands Christian School was established in 1921. It enrolls more than 450 students in grades prekindergarten through eight. All students entering kindergarten are required to take the Gazell Test of Readiness. The school has three administrators, 28 full-time teachers, support staff and parent volunteers. Its curriculum includes math, language arts, spelling, penmanship, science, social studies and Bible studies. Students also attend weekly classes in music, art, physical education and computer science. It offers a variety of sports that include basketball, baseball, football, soccer, track, volleyball and cross-country. Redlands Christian School is a nonprofit institution, operated by a society of parents, teachers, administrators, and Friends of the school. The board hires the staff and sets educational and operational policies. Redlands Christian School is located in Redlands, Calif.
