A friend told me about this school and I felt welcomed right away. All of the instructors took the time to make sure you understood the material. They help you with job placement and genuinely care about their students. The class felt like family. They have since changed to Ashdown college and is still just as great. They offer both day and night classes. I was able to find a job while still in school thanks to my externship and now I have a flexible job where I can be with my daughter.

This school appears good at first glance, but the problems it has are numerous. First, it claims to be "Christian" but is really Seventh-Day Adventist. If you're not SDA, be prepared to have to read their "prophetesses" work the Ministry of Healing and attend "religion" classes that amount to indoctrination/legalism.

The teachers are hit and miss as well. Our class had teachers routinely come late or not show to classes (including the school owner who was late for class by 2 hours). Then they'd turn around and expect you to respect their time just after they'd disrespected your time!

As to the actual massage-work, you could get a good education elsewhere for MUCH less money and hassle. What do I mean by Hassle? Any problem you have there, be prepared for it to go ignored or it to be swept away by a false niceness by the school owner. She mixes her religion with her business and it doesn't work out too well. She doesn't take criticism well or do anything to solve any problems other than praying to her SDA god. Which is different than any other Christian organization, let me assure you. Not only that, but the classes drag on and on. All the students eventually come to the conclusion that they're trying to FILL UP TIME. These people have hours that they must fill up and they waste your time by saying what could be said in a few minutes and stretching it out over HOURS.

Students AND their faculty get bored. It's a waste of time, honestly.

Save yourself the trouble and go to a different school. I wish I had...what a waste of time and my precious money.
