As of October 2015, RPM is still definitely a scam company. I see someone posted about this a few years back, well, they haven't changed. If you're thinking about renting from this company, be careful. If you have the option though, DONT rent from them. RPM will stuff your security deposit so far down their pockets, you will never see it come back.
I had a deposit of 600, and they are charging me almost 1000 for damages and expenses that were marked on my move-in inpection, painting that was never done, cleaning of an already clean unit, and other false charges.
I used to think this was an okay company, given the other choice there are in the redding area, but no. Real Property Management has gone downhill and continues to do so.
Save yourself the time, trouble, stress, and financial hardship of this horrible company, and don't bother renting with them.

If you are considering renting a house or apt in the Redding area, please BEWARE of an agency called Real Property Management. They are a scam operation who's main goal is to screw you out of your hard earned money. Aside from being absolutely agonizing to deal with as people, your deposit no matter how large will be lining their pockets when you move out, you will not see a dime of it back. Good luck getting something fixed, and you better be prepared to quit your job and take yard grooming classes because no matter what the yard looks like when you move in, you will be required to spend your hard earned money to fix broken sprinklers, buy tree trimming tools, buy a leaf blower, hedge trimmers, sure hope you know Bob Vila as a personal friend. I cleaned my house perfectly when i moved out, spotless top to bottom, and got nothing back, instead I was charged for things like tightening screws on cupboards, tightening a light bulb,, straightening a blind slat, BLOWING LEAVES OFF THE ROOF! When you call them to try and get the rest of your money back, they won't talk to you, they just tell you to submit it in writing. This way they don't even have to listen to you be angry. They have clearly done this so many times that they have it down to a system. Screw your customers and then tell them you can't talk to them unless its in writing. Can you imagine doing this at any other establishment. It's ludicrous. " hi I would like to talk to something about this thing i purchased that's not working......sorry we can't talk to you, you will have to submit it in writing. Like they are some kind of government agency. They have absolutely no conscience.

Great company very easy to work with, very fast to send out a workman to fix things. I like the office staff, they alway listen.

BEWARE OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANIES. THEY ARE IN THE BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY!!! If you think you will get your deposit back, think again. We rented from this co. for 2 1/2 years. We moved 12-20-13 and were charged for things that were listed on the move in sheet. Plus many other false charges.

As a property owner who has had more than one company manage for me, I'm so thankful for all the staff at Real Property Management. there level of professionalism has been a real help. They are always quick to take care of any and all issues that arrise with multi-unit properties. I HIGHLY recommend Real Property Management for your rental needs whether you are looking for an apartment or house to rent or have a property that needs managing as you will be treated honestly and fairly!
