Although intelligent, they made mistakes and didnt trust the 2 customers memory about which dog had which problem, which dog needed which meds, and which dogs needed expensive tests. Was rude when we tried correcting, as the vet and the office manager apparently know everything and never make mistakes. We had to pay for their mistakes instead, thankfully not with a dead puppy, but you could imagine how being rude and thinking they are all knowing could seriously cause big problems when they refuse to correct a mistake or refuse to provide at least a discount on their upcharges for services which in the vets error was not required. Seem greedy and also are very rude to their staff, right in front of the customer. Horrible management skills overall

My dog Shadow & I had our 1st visit to Dr.Phiel & his staff on Sept 1, 2017. Service & knowledge outstanding. I moved to Redlion in May. Previously from Airville. Our previous vet of 34yrs is now a 64 mile one way trip. Not having a vehichle causes great difficulty getting there. I am so impressed by Heston's service that Iam pleased to say that Dr.Phiel is now Shadow's V.M.D.!! Shadow had an eye injury that had infection. Dr. explained everything in great detail. Answered all (i had many) questions & was more than just kind. To myself & Shadow. We talked about 45+mins. Speaking of all areas of dog care etc.. In closing.. Im proud to say "We have a new doggie Dr.at Heston Veternarian Medical Center named Dr.Phiel I highly recommend him for all your pets medical needs!! Kelly K. Wilson

Intelligent, capable veterinarian. Unfortunately terrible staff and business practices, and that is why I moved my animals to other practice in town. Receptionist is downright rude.

All they care about is the money, money, money. The vet kept on needlessly talking so as to charge me for an extended visit, and spent a great deal of effort recommending very expensive unwanted and unnecessary tests and vaccinations. Beware of the wife/receptionist. Stay away from this practice.

Dr. Bradley Phiel and his wife linda have an excellent practice. They are both intelligent and decent people. The Dr. Is thorough in his exams. I appreciate the great care they have provided to me dogs, especially in emergency situations.

We have taken two dogs to Dr Phiel and found him and other staff to be knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr Phiel does a thorough job of finding the root cause for symptoms, which may require some tests/lab work, but in the long run it saved us money and our dogs were healthy and happy.

This is the worst practice in the state. I would never take an animal to this practice where there is no compassion and all they care about is how much they can bill you. The office manager is controlling of the vet and you never get to discuss issues with the actual vet. Save yourself a lot of frustration and take your animal elswhere.
