the best Mexican Spanish food I have eaten since being in Reading, PA

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant around. I have been going there since they opened and have NEVER had anything on the menu that was not delicious. The staff and service is top notch. The drinks are also to die for. I would HIGHLY recommend Azteca to all.

Everything we had was just wonderful! I'd heard good things about this place, but I was still pleasantly surprised with the freshness, flavor and presentation. Also impressed by the variety in the vegetarian section of the menu! Will definitely go back to explore the menu further.

I highly recommend this place, We celebrated 5 de mayo this year, we had a blast!! Great food, great drinks, great people, prices very affordable and great atmosphere!! My family, co-workers and my boyfriend go all the time.

Their selection is awesome and their menu for food and drinks covers Americanized Mexican thoroughly.

Nachos are strong and some of the basics are really good. Stay away from seafood as they use lower quality lower cost products.

The atmosphere is really good and I look forward to Cinco de Mayo there tonight.

Margeritas are better at other places including Alebrije but Alebrije does not have beef flautas and that is not good in my book. They make the margeritas too stiff for this mostly beer or vodka drinker.

Prices are very fair and better than Alebrije overall. I wish that all these places focused on fresher, higher quality ingredients that did not drown so many of their dishes in cheese and used the spices more authentically. I would pay more for more authenticity and less catering to our American palletes.

It is very spacious and very clean. Alebrije is too cramped and is always packed despite the food being no better than here for more money.

Everything about this place was tops - the food, drinks, service, atmosphere! I only wish we had a Plaza Azteca in Albany, NY where we live.

Service was horrible, our waitress was slow and had no clue about certain items on the menu. I also had ordered carnitas (chunks of pork chops) one of them was one big chunk of fat. The refried beans had peppers in them...since when do they come with peppers?! The menu did not state that. When I spoke to the manager and complained she just said "what do you want me to do"? Poor management skills is what she had. I would not recommend this place at all. Nice place and good nachos is the only good thing I can say about it.

We were in this restaurant to celebrate 5 de Mayo, last night. Everything was great! The music, the food, the athmosphere! My boyfriend and I really had a great time! We are going back tonight, again! I love this place!!

I like to consider myself a connoisseur of Mexican food, and Plaza Azteca was not disappointing. Although it was not the best Mexican restaurant at which I have ever eaten, I had no complaints whatsoever about Plaza Azteca. My husband took me there for my birthday, and our waitress Jessica was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating and helpful. I had a few special substitutions I asked for on my order, and everything came exactly as I ordered it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was quaint and in traditional Mexican style. Our meal was surprisingly affordable, including a margarita and dessert! In general it was a very good experience and I would absolutely recommend Plaza Azteca to others. FYI there is a Mariachi band performing live every other Wednesday night, and it is nice for you to tip the band when they come to your table and play just for you, so have some cash on hand if you go.

The food and service were both outstanding. Very fast, food was great and hot and came out quickly. The make a killer strawberry fruit smoothie also. The waiter was a little hard to understand sometimes because of his heavy accent and he spoke so quickly but otherwise the visit was great and we are telling everyone and we will be back again soon. top notch!
