To expensive for spanish.... food.. dear god,!!! come one this isn't a lobster I ordered. ..

Coming from a girl who was raised on Mexican food all her life in Southern California. I was extremely disappointed in the food served at Alebrije Mexican Restaurant. It was in no way authentic & I can only believe that people rave about this place because they know no better. Their ground beef is bland & runny & their cheese is an overly processed cheese food product. The meal was inedible & I left over half of it on my plate. It's sad when you drop $50 at a restaurant, realizing you could have spent $20 or less at Taco Bell & you still would have received a better meal. I'll continue to make my own Mexican food at home, until I get the courage enough to try another "authentic" local place, at least I know what I am doing.
