It was worse food than State Prison half the time chicken was raw and then they would swear at you when you would ask them to cook it properly there was roaches mice people od'ing on drugs staff sleeping with residence residence sleeping with each other smuggling cigarettes in and charging $2 a piece making $40 off of pack that's why they don't let you smoke there. The one lady Miss Martin that is the head downstairs doesn't even have a degree and it's on the total Power Trip and is extremely unprofessional and rude they don't let you go outside for more than about 15 minutes if you're lucky once a week in this little Courtyard I was setved literally no fruit the entire 60 days I was there could go on forever. in two months there was 8 deaths lock the story up on PennLive if you don't believe it. And they make 40000 off of each sip recipient alone so where's the money going this for-profit company bought adapt and they treat patients like a product you will literally get no treatment there except for an outside meeting twice a week that comes in I literally did nothing as far as a treatment plan my folder was empty

I lived in adappt

after 9 years in prison this is where they put me 70% of residents were always high on something and allowed to sit around all day doing nothing.most staff was rude and had worse attitudes than state prison guards.i was even stopped from going to work on two occasions because I couldn't scrub a stain out of a shower that hundreds of people have used.also we lived with mice and roaches.and the staff is so unprofessional it's amazing how many sleep with the residents.adappt is supposed to be a doc run facility and it has a lot of holes I can't believe the doc or the state keep it open for reentry

i will continue to express my disapointment for adappt and facilities like it because there simply no treatment value,it,s warehousing, luke warm attempts to bring about change does,nt work, until all these so called experts on crime talk to some of US that have been through the system and get some real answers, adappt and places like it will always fail.

Set up for failure delibertaly by guard

my son was there. one particular guard is rude, arrogant to these kids. he purposely tosses rooms so they have to clean up. he is on a power trip. will deny these kids use of bathroom after hours of holding their bladder. after being questioned then mysteriously k2 found in room and son sent upstate. May God who knows all deal with this guard and be held accountable for his actions and the lives he is interferring with.

very nice visits

Hi, my husband is at adappt, i think that it is one of the best things that ever happened to him. I think he is a changed man. We have been together for nine years almost, so i think i know him. I just want to thank adappt for having very nice visitations. It makes our family feel very comfortable, and your staff is very polite. Hopefully other correctional places can learn from you guys. You don't have to be mean to get peoples attn. All you have to do is treat them like a human being, just how you'd like to be treated. So Adappt that you so much for treating my husband and family with respect.

Sincerely,

A VERY GREATLY APPRECIATED WIFE!
