Wonderful people

The staff and personnel at Little country bears are so caring they will go out of their way to help you. I have a grandchild that goes there and the entire staff is familiar with all the children not just the one in the classroom they are assigned. Each child is known by the entire staff. I pick up at different times during the afternoon and papers are always filled out up to the time and I never have to wait. I enjoy the fact that the staff and owner is so friendly that is like an extended part of the family. Transitions up to the next age classrooms are done gradually so the child gets to know the new surroundings and helps to cause less resistance. They take the time to talk to you about what went on during the day and if there is a problem the are prompt to call. I have no reservations about my grandchild going to this day care.

Little Country Bears

It was a difficult decision to place our child with a day care provider but after extensively researching our day care options we quickly determined that Little Country Bears best met our family's needs. We placed our 8-month-old in the Little Country Bears Infant Room (0-2yrs) in October, 2006 based in no small part on the developmental programs and myriad activities incorporated into their developmental curriculum, as much as the readily-apparent caring, professional staff. Since his placement in 2006, our son's "teachers" have provided much of the requisite groundwork in prepration for kindergarten as well as helped develop his socialization skills. He very much enjoys thinking he is a "big boy" and already going to "school."

As our family eagerly anticipated the April, 2007 arrival of our second child, our extended family at Little Country Bears was no less excited and supportive. When our son arrived 10 weeks prematurely the staff demonstrated the sort of care and support you would expect from family members. During a very difficult time, the staff provided additional care above and beyond what you would expect from a run-of-the-mill day care provider. Since placing him with Little Country Bears they have incorporated his special needs into his developmental curriculum. We are happy to say that he is already walking and has "caught up" developmentally due, in no small measure, to the additional efforts and activities provided by Little Country Bears.

Due to the stability of the staff and the care and attention they provide, our sons are flourishing. As our children progress from one age group "class" to another each new teacher becomes a new extended family member. The facility is clean and secure - as you would expect in a "home." We have no hesitation in recommending Little Country Bears as an excellant day care provider.
