Horrible to do business with! I rented a unit at the end of November (18th) because we were putting our house on the market, decided not to and called December 4th to give the unit up and they still made me pay all of December (transaction came out on Dec 3rd). I had payed for the deposit and part of November (almost $50). They said they had to bill for December because I did not give 30 days notice...even though I HAD NOT even had the unit 30 days, so I could not even give 30 days notice. She stated because now they couldn t rent the unit out, well funny I rented at the end of a month and they prorated...do the same to my unit, it s obvious. So now they will get my rent for December and they will prorate the place out to another person. Double dipping! Needless to say I paid the deposit (which I will get back), part of November and all of Decemeber even though I called on Dec 4th, $100 for a unit I never even walked into. I didn t ask for November back even though I didn t use the unit, that is my fault, but to still charge me for December when I called on the 4th is insane. I could not give 30 days notice. Many, many, many units around town prorate first and last month rent...I found out after calling around (should have done better homework). Do yourself a favor and go to another storage unit!
