Patient beware - if you need rehab with minimum assistance from Nursing care, Country Villa may work for you.. If you need assistance for daily living activities while rehabilitating, you are putting yourself in danger here. The nursing care is severely limited with only one head nurse at nite to cover the entire facility.. Daycare is very challenging to get help; patients often have the feeling that the nurses are in hiding.. sounds crazy until I saw it for myself.. there are a few good staff, but many who simply do not care about the patients.. extremely disheartening to see.. Think hard before coming here..

Both of my parents have had extensive stays at Country Villa. But on two separate occassions, and very different recoveries. The first time was when my mother has a hip replacement. They took excellent care of her. The staff is caring and try very hard to make the atmosphere happy.



The rooms are decorated very nicely. They do not feel sterile or cold.



The second time was when both of my parents where there at the same time for much more serious illnesses. They put them next door to each other. They took great care of them both. And made us all feel like part of the family.

They have alot of full time residents there and for the most part everyone seems pretty well adjusted. There is a piano in the dining area. They have people come in during the dinner hour who sing or play the piano. There is a stereo in there as well and they have music playing all the time during dinner.



I could go on but I won't! This is the BEST place to go if you have any recovery to do. I give it a 3 Thumbs UP!!!
