I brought my 20 month old puppy here for get spayed and rabies shot, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. They treat your pets very nice, and have great customer satisfaction! I rescheduled an appointment a week prior because I over slept, and rescheduling was no hassle at all! Wonderful place to bring your pet to be cared for.

We brought our cat here about nine months ago and the staff treated him great! The doctors were very knowledgeable, especially Dr. Henderson. Our cat was back to his normal mischievous self in no time. The office called back several times just to make sure everything was going OK and one of the vet techs even remembered him by name upon seeing him when we brought him back in. That's the kind of staff I look for when treating my furry friends!

I have my cat and bird in that clinic and I can highly recommend them, they have full services and lots of extras, for example I told them I couldnt bring in my cat in the morning because I work and they offered to board him at no extra cost, another example...before his teeth cleaning, the technician called with all the instructions and patiently answered all my questions; another example... the doctor himself called for follow up and my best impression comes from the fact they care so much, they wrote (the doctors) a complete guide on how to take care of your pet, that's something I hadnt seen in any other vet I have visited.

Approximately 2 years ago I took my Canary in to Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital with a serious leg problem. The band was too tight and was causing the leg to swell, therefore, causing the band to cut into the leg. Dr. Shufer operated on the leg and removed the band and 2 years later my canary is alive and healthy. I was amazed because a bird's leg is very, very fragile. I have always found Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital to be very friendly and caring.

I have been bringing my pets to Alta Rancho Pet and Bird Hospital for the past twelve years. It is relatively easy to get an appointment and most of the staff is very friendly. I have thankfully only needed to use them for routine check ups and vaccinations. They sent my family a very nice sympathy card after they put my dog to sleep due to old age. As a full time student now, they are very pricey compared to other clinics. A great benefit is their vaccine clinic, they do not charge an office visit for vaccinations when you bring your pet in between those hours!

My Pomeranians have been patients at Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital for many years. The doctor's have literally saved my dog's life twice. My older Pom has heart disease and is taking multiple medications.. I have hunted all over the internet for a lower price for the medications but I can't find better price anywhere. These doctor's treat my "daughtetrs" with tenderness and love. They strive to keep costs as low as possible even though they have the most comprehensive medical facility I have ever experienced. Dr. Henderson is one of the very few avian vets in all of Southern California. My gratitude goes to Dr. Hendeson,Dr. Shufer and the entire Alta Rancho Pet and Bird Hospital staff.

Selecting a new vet after moving to the area can be a challenge. My only experience with a vet had been in a stand-alone facility set up like a human's clinic with the waiting room in separate area from exam rooms, kennel areas and other areas of the hospital. To find a vet in what is best described as a strip mall made me a bit apprehensive about their ability to provide quality care. Alta Rancho Pet offers daily vaccination clinics so I decided to check them out when one of my dogs needed vaccinations. I was pleasantly surprised. I was treated with kindness and respect and my dog loved them (ok, she loves everyone!). The staff was very friendly and the facility seemed comprehensive. When my elderly dog became very ill and needed to be hospitalized, the vet kept me informed of his condition and treatment options. Although my dog passed away a couple of days after coming home, I felt that the staff did everything that they could. He was not the most cooperative of patients and the staff put up with a lot while treating him. My other dog is undergoing ongoing treatment and has had to have 2 emergency surgeries for unrelated conditions. Both times they were able to treat my dog that same day, kept me informed of her condition and usually called me the next day to check on her. All in all, a good experience and a good, comprehensive facility.

I am a first time pet owner who just purchased a new puppy. The staff at Alta Rancho was very informative and very patient with all of my questions. They wrote out a schedule for my puppies shots and gave me handouts about how to care for my new puppy. The dr was great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this Pet hospital to anyone!!

I had a hard time finding a hospital that was able to see my many birds that i own. I was relieved to find people that care and are capable. They took wonderful care of them. Thank You!!!
