We recently moved to Nashville, and apparently, they REFUSE to pick up ANYTHING that is OUTSIDE of the trash container. We cannot add another container either! I WOULD NOT use this company. RUN as fast as you can from this company! We shall take items to the dump today after work, as they will not...I was NOT told this initially and customer Service in the Nashville office was nasty! Cancelling service today after ONE month of hassles!

Thanks to Waste Industries for dropping the trash can and leaving the garbage on the street for me (7 months pregnant) to pick up! Many missed pickups, rude customer service agents, long hold times and voice mails is what you get for your money with Waste Industries.

They claim that their "goal has always been to provide a level of service that is truly unmatched by anyone in the industry." Really? I am still waiting on a supervisor to call me back! It is now 10:43 p.m. on 9/12 and my garbage has been sitting out on my curb for TWO DAYS now! I called three times and each time I was told that they have put in a request to have garbage picked up and management will call me before end of day. The woman, Alejandra told me they will pick it up between now and Monday. Can you imaging smelly trash sitting out in the hot sun for 5 days?! So much for unmatched level of service! I am looking for another service and will 'dump' them at the end of my 3-month period.

Horrible is the best you can say about waste industries. Numerous missed pickups and the customer service rep Deborah is right out rude. The only time she was ever pleasant was when I switched to another service.

Oh they are also crooks. They will not refund the money for missed pickups after many requests.

Their goal is to buy out the competition then when they have a monopoly then treat you like the trash they pickup.

AVOID!

I live in Georgia and the same crap happens here so it obviously starts at Corporate. Searching for new service now - tired of paying for them not to pick it up. Still waiting on a supervisor to call me back!

Nice works,but nothing to back it. I signed up for their services, had the can for 2 days and found out from my HOA I had to go w/ another company. Called to cancel and they were accommodating via phone but when it came to picking up the can it took them a month, they took $ out of my deposit just for having it 2 days so I didn't get my full return. Wouldn't recommend to anyone! I had to call them SEVERAL times to get anything done and even spoke with a supervisor!

this company is bs ....they change their price without anything and when i cancel their service they dont pick up dumpsters they dont have any ethics all. plz dont do any business with them

The people that are in customer service are people who couldn't make it at the DMV.

Took 45 minutes to find some who even cared about my problem.

If I could rate Waste Industries with a 0 or below, that would be more accurate than a 1 star rating. I had paid them in December, through the end of April. I never received a bill in May, then in the first week of June I get a collection agency telling me I owe $93! I called them to find out how I could possibly owe $93 for one month of service AND be sent to collections before being billed at all. I was told not to worry that they bill in advance, and that nothing would be reported to the credit bureaus (despite what the collection letter said). I told the CSR I would be mailing in a payment by the end of June, she OK'd it and then on 6/20, my garbage was left at the curb...for nonpayment. I am taking my business elsewhere. This was not the first problem I have had since Waste Industries took over for Shaw Sanitation in January. Terrible, terrible service...and possibly causing unwarranted damage to your credit profile. BEWARE!!!
