I have never felt more uncomfortable or unwelcome in a store. I went about a week ago to try on shoes for a show I'm in. I don't know if it's because I'm not a "dancer," but the woman who helped me didn't seem to want to help me at all. She treated me like I was somehow inconveniencing her by shopping there.

When I got home I realized I should have gotten a different size but instead of exchanging them there, I went to Relevé, where I felt infinitely more comfortable and welcome. I came back today to return the shoes and the woman told me I was too late, even though I was within the 7 day policy. I tried to show her that it was exactly a week later and she threw the calendar back on the shelf, said "I'm not going to argue with you, it doesn't make enough of a difference to me," and made a big show of how she was letting me return them even though I was technically too late. I will never go to this store again, at least not while this woman is the manager.
