The guys in the office may be nice and all, but they seriously lack business knowledge, etiquette and professionalism. I purchased a car the 2nd of December and have yet to receive my permanent plates. I'm given constant excuses and always the same promises that "it'll be done today or tomorrow." They find it perfectly acceptable to have one of their customers driving around with expired tags; saying "You have all the paperwork showing it's your car, the police won't have a problem" But who the hell wants that hassle? Also, whatever mechanic they use, needs to be fired. The day I picked up the car, I was informed the brakes were grinding a bit because of rust or sediment from sitting and will cease after a couple days. Completely wrong, a week or so later, my car failed to stop and I almost ended up in a ditch. If someone would have been truthful with me, I would have gotten the brakes changed right away and would not have ended up in harms way. The brakes were so far gone, the rotars needed replacing also and it even caused additional damage. Someone (either at Global or their affiliates) felt it just to knowingly put a customer in an insafe car. I understand the cars are sold "as is" and I have no problem with that; but no one deserves to be put in danger then lied to about it.
