BEWARE -- Unprofessional and unreliable! After convincing us that we should pay them $400 to reseed our backyard (we declined twice but finally were told that this was the only way to "fix" our backyard), DS Lawn Care did nothing to communicate when they were actually going to reseed the yard. Instead, we returned from vacation in the fall to find that half of the backyard had been misted with weed killer, leaving a nice tiger stripe pattern all over.



At some point the yard was supposedly reseeded but I never saw any seed anywhere. When nothing came up, we asked and were told that it was our fault for not watering the lawn. Well, we could have watered it if we were told when it was seeded. Or if it was at all. When we asked for a reseed or a refund, we were blown off.



We were also given stupid excuses as to why the weed killer was only sprayed in a striped pattern throughout the lawn. Nothing could be done, we were told.



This is also in addition to the fact that my wife would have to remind the lawn guys to kill/pull the weeds around the flower beds. Or to mow on the side of the house. It was always something. Really poor attention to detail.



After finally getting fed up with all of this nonsense and lack of professionalism, my wife emailed to cancel services. The response was that we were under contract. Well, we never signed anything. Ever. So a few ugly emails from the owner back and forth and a phone call with a lot of attitude and NO apologies for their poor service, we were told we would be graciously let out of this supposed and imaginary contract.



BEWARE! This company is completely unprofessional and doesn't give a crap about customer service or standing behind for the work they do (or in many cases, the work they don't do).
