TJ Hooser joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2023, following a 18-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Major. A graduate of Texas A&M Central Texas with a master's degree in MBA - Finance & Economics, TJ holds Series 7 & 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in AR,FL,GA,IN,KY,MI,NC,OK,PA,TN,TX,WV. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, TJ serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk.
