I will not be returning to this dry cleaner. The owners may be nice but their staff is unprofessional and not very courteous. My husband took my expensive Calvin Klein original dress with matching belt to this dry cleaner, one that he had purchased for me as an anniversary gift a few years back. I received the dress back but the belt was nowhere to be found. If you saw the dress you would understand that the belt makes the dress and is completely irreplaceable since it matches the fabric of the dress. Since this dress was a gift from my hubby it also has a certain sentimental value. I went to wear this dress the Sunday after my husband picked up the dry cleaning and realized the belt was missing. Since they were closed my husband contacted them first thing Monday morning in which he was advised that they had the belt. I went to the cleaners during my work break and the girl at the front did not greet me with a smile or even a friendly hello. She seemed irritated to even be there. The owner and his wife came in, they were more courteous however showed me several belts which none of them were mine. Ray, one of the owners, assured me they would be searching for the belt and he would call me that afternoon to provide me with an update. Later that night, since I had received no phone call, I called to find out if they had any luck with my finding my belt. The girl who answered stated the owner was no longer there and put me on hold while she looked for my belt. She then returned to the line stating that she had looked everywhere for the belt and did not believe there was anywhere else to look. She assured me that Ray would be calling me the next day. I waited all Tuesday and Wednesday and did not receive a call, so I called on Wednesday night to check on the status. The girl that answered the phone seemed irritated that I was calling. She made it seem as though I had called every hour for several days when it was only my 2nd call in a 3 day period (and that was only because I was told I would receive a call and never did). She immediately gave an irritable sigh and then began to spout off that they had more important things to do than look for my belt, that I was not a priority, and since one of their dry cleaners chose to quit that was their priority. She stated they had already looked for my belt and nothing came up and that I would only hear from them if they find it. I advised her that there was no need to get an attitude with me, I was just calling for an update and being that I was the one with the missing item I had every right to call in and request an update. The girl responded that she was not getting attitude with me and that she was being pleasant but since I thought she was being a "b***ch" she was going to be sure to leave the owner a note that she was being pleasant. The interesting thing about her response is I barely spoke 2 sentences the entire conversation and NEVER used any name calling or foul language because that is just not in my nature. My husband who was sitting listening to the phone call was shocked at the girl's response and lack of professionalism. She then stated the owner would call me when he returned on Thursday and then she hung up on me. I waited Thursday and Friday and have yet to receive a phone call. I am very displeased with the lack of professionalism the staff portrayed at this dry cleaners and the fact that since my belt has not been found, no other solutions have even been provided. I will not be returning to this dry cleaner and would not recommend it to anyone else.
