This ranch has helped me heal and learn to ride at the same time. Patient, supportive and caring all while learning to groom and ride! Fantastic!

I am the owner of this ranch and this last review is slanderous. The owner of the horse mentioned in the review has no business stating false information. We had strangels the previous year. It was done. Her horse stuckl a leg through wire fencing due to vet wrao thst was left on for 4 days and no i wasnt drunk at a party. i was at the farm and called her when i saw the horse was injured. I didnt offer to help because i didnt have a trailer or insurance for a gigantic horse to trailer to a clinic on an emergency.

me and my family had a groupon for this ranch and we had a blast. We ended up doing child's version of the groupon which turned out to be so much more fun for the kids because they learn to interract with and brush the ponies. My daughter can't stop talking about gizmo and rigby and all the horses at cimarron ranch. We even booked a pony party for the spring for my daughter's 9th birthday. The staff was very helpful and informative. The place was busy and bustling with happy children. The owner, Lee, even took time out of her obviously very busy day to say hi and make sure we were having a good time. She looks a bit overwhelmed with everything so maybe they should have more staff on hand to help in the future. Otherwise, the atmosphere was welcoming, the horses were well behaved and healthy looking and we look forward to doing more business with them and wish everyone at Cimarron best of luck. It's nice to see young people work hard and be so dedicated to their passion.

If I could give it no stars I ...

If I could give it no stars I would. Place is extremely run down and terribly run. Trails are treacherous and NOT for beginners. Horses are not appropriate for beginners either and look run down. Paddocks are terrible and horses get out constantly. Also DO NOT board your horse here!!! Saw a horse who was moved from this barn to a new barn, and the owner was livid because she looked like a rescue horse with ribs protruding. The "barn manager" Leigh was not taking care of the boarder's properly and lied to the owner about their care and how much food they were getting. All the feed and care was going to HER horses. The owner has pictures and vet records to prove it! The poor horse was 300-400 lbs. underweight and she's in perfect health, so there's no excuse for that. Do yourself a HUGE favor...if you care about your horse do not board them here! Do not listen to the lies they will tell you to save their hides and make themselves look good. Not worth your time or the risk. Go somewhere else for trails and a good experience.
