I was very weary about renting from Helene's Property Place due to the negative reviews that you read online as well. Well I ended up renting from them for almost a year, I lived in one of their apartments up on military hill. I have no complaints with the apartment itself, the apartments are pretty old, nothing fancy or new, but affordable and things work. We had a refrigerator problem when we first moved in, they were very prompt at getting it fixed. I thought, "Hey, this is nice!" So the main reason that I'm giving them a one star is because their staff is absolutely incompetent. If you ever have questions, etc. goodness gracious it will take several people to answer them. They rarely call you back when they jot down your information, so be prepared to call back with the same question that same day or next day. Due to their front desk people giving us false information, subleasing our last three months of our lease was a total nightmare.

They dont even deserve one star.

This company's service is appalling. Our rental is LITERALLY leaning. There are POISONOUS bug issues, power lines on the roof, faulty wiring, a broken thermostat, junk in the basement, a landlord that forgets to lock the door and brings animals in, an extremely leaky front door, spackled walls to fix holes that were never repainted, burns all over the carpets. And that isnt even all of it.

We have complained multiple time about most of these with no avail. One of us was even bitten by some huge spider and they did nothing when we told them about the ever increasing issue. Helene's property is a joke. Do not ever give them your money. Hopefully someday a person with enough money to hire a lawyer will rent one of their houses....
