If you want a good authentic flavor to your food then this is a good place. They usually have a pretty good lunch special. If you get to know the cook he/she will usually bring out an extra treat for you to try. If you work down town and haven't been here you're missing out.

You have got to go to China Garden.......The best Oriental food you will find on the West Coast.........and I have been to all of them from Las Vegas to Provo to LA.....It's the BEST, Especially that General Tao Chicken, the flavor are awesome !, each time when I visited, I order different dishes, everydish are great! Fried Dumpling I have never taste that good in many years, since I was living in LA, near China Town, China Garden Fried Dumpling are even better than LA China Town, it was just bite with all the juicy outside crisp, oh! I give up anything just for that, Especially in small town of Provo, China Garden feels like your Dinning room in your home, friendly, price is good, China Garden new location is 225 S. Center ST, right next to the new skin building, also right accross street from the new Convention Center and civil center. the old place on State Street is closed.

I worked close by and my coworkers and I would eat here at least once or twice a week. The food is really good with large helpings and the price was very reasonable.
